Realistic photos.

Post by colnick » Wed Jul 15, 2020 8:41 pm

Good day,
We have seen some wonderful reports including some great photos but I get exasperated when the fish is deliberately thrust so far forward towards the camera that it is impossible to judge it's real size. For goodness sake, this is a fishing forum. We love seeing photos but they mean a lot more if the fish is presented in realistic perspective I reckon.
There, got that off my chest!
Cheers, Col.

It really depends on what you want the photos for. Personally I like photos that highlight the fish, showing its colours/markings and character, how big it is is a secondary element and for the most part I'm not to fazed about exactly how big someones fish is and tbh you can usually work out the size class from the pic to a reasonable degree of accuracy even when it is being held out.

I like it when the person is holding the fish so far forward that their face is out of focus.
