im struggling to keep up with fb let alone all the others.
i can say though that flickr is high resolution.

facebook is great for this. Make a private album and just upload your pics into that. This will resize them and also remove any exif data from them also.
Then you just link them into the img tags or you can save back to your phone and upload to the forum as a file up to you.

"Compress" then reduce the megapixels by 20 or 30%. Then put the quality between 65/80 and it will work
