River to Reef

Post by Seniorfisho » Fri Apr 22, 2022 8:37 am

It's been a while since I went salt fishing, so I decided to try the harbor during the wind and rain and managed a nice pinkie. I missed a few others because I couldn't get from the car to the rods quick enough. I also went down to the river to try for a bass and was rewarded with this 41cm beast on 4lb line which was on my rods for some bream fishing. Great fight and great fun. Hopefully I won't get abused for putting anothere report

Nice..
I don't understand why people would abuse you for putting up a report.
Exasperated, jealous, trolling etc is common, but abuse is not cool
Cheers

Dunno what it is about that pinkys shape but at first glance I thought it was mid 50's. It seems deeper than most little tackers

Nice Bass. Know how you feel I have been abused and had my integrity questioned for reports without pics. We’re you using lures or bait for bass?

It was a very solid pinky, they eat well in the harbor.

I caught it on a strike pro bass beetle. I have been getting them all on the bass beetle in the last month or so. They are reluctant to take anything off the surface so the bass beetle swims about 6inch to a foot below the surface and it seems to be what they want atm
