I've been going out for short sessions from altona several days the past week. Didn't do it today since the winds were crazy.

Saw police once but they seemed to be more preoccupied with the somewhat large family outings at the park next to the ramp rather than fishos.

I've done a couple of hour or so trips midweek between the horrendous winds and haven't had an issue. Coppers have been more concerned about the soccer mums having a 10 person coffee run ins than 1 or 2 people having a quiet fish away from others

Went fishing at altona for couple hrs Friday night, saw cops drive right pass me. Caught nothing in that brief 2 hrs but had couple bites with no hook ups. Still good to be out though
