anyone catching Gars?

Post by CremeDeLaCreme » Sat Dec 29, 2012 9:06 am

Hi guys/gals,

has anyone had any luck catching garfish around Port Phillip Bay lately?

My usual gar spots at the northern end of PPB haven't been producing and I am keen to catch some of these tasty little fish.
Thanx in advance!

yup, yakka in Sorrento pier was thick last year, so was the cala. This year is disappointing in cala scene (LB)

I think there's too much snapper in the bay this year that they ate most of the cala ang yakka on their way in.
