Mealworms

I have a tub of mealworms in my refrigerator for a friends fish.
Has anybody tryed them as bait ???

Yep - Good for trout etc, drift 2 on a hook, unweighted, into slack water or just into the current at the head of a pool. You can also toss a couple into the area you are going to fish before sticking a hook in a couple - downsize to a 10 / 12 / 14 size hook / 4Lb line.

Would you put the hook thru one end/middle in one spot or feed them along the hook with a bit hanging off?
We sell them at my work so thinking if I ever run out of time to pick up normal worms, these might work in a pinch

Thread through one end / Buy them at Pet Shops, they sell them as Lizard/Frog food - Price??

I work at a pet store (main stores like PETstock & Pet Barn would definitely have them) but some stockfeeds will have a small supply along with live crickets.
Depending on how big a tub you want, starts from $4 up to like $22 for the king sized mealworms
