Port Welshpool

Post by James Vernon » Fri Jun 02, 2023 9:14 am

Hi, heading down to Port Welshpool these holidays.
I have a 5 metre boat and am hoping to go to white rock and surrounding islands if the weather permits for some kingys. Any tips on how to get some live bait like slimy mackerel, yakkas and squid would be helpful. And what rig should I use for live bait.

Cheers

Suggest you try for kings in December to end of Feb.

Your boat might not be suitable to head out to white rock.
