If your on the ledge for a day but you look after your catch if your keeping it?

Do you take chiller bags with ice etc
Hey I missed this on my phone when you posted it. Home now on the desktop. We try to keep the fish wet and out of the sun, there was a nice crack in the ledge full of water which did ok until one of our bait pools was empty, then we tucked that under a ledge and covered it with clothing / buckets etc to keep it out of the sun.

Walking out I figured out I can get a whole white bucket into my bag, so just put them headfirst into that for the hour odd slog back to the car and had carl carry my reels and other bits and pieces.

Sooo NSW yeah?
According to people in here who insist on talking about where i'm fishing i'm either in NSW or on the VIC / SA border. Someone is 1000km out. But who?

After Christmas, I’ve got some time off work and with luck the water will be warm enough then for kings. Doesn’t seem like there’s much point in going any earlier
Not sure I can wait that long... weather permitting will venture down 13/14th Dec. If nothing else I am better prepared this year to ping that big red that got away from me last season. It may still be a bit cool as you say...but... you never never know, if you never ever go.

A guy got a kingie in WPB last week.

I'm half convinced most of the 'you can't catch those at this time of year!" is simply people not fishing for them. Apparently you can't catch kings until January either.

I wouldn't go this weekend though, the swell is nuts.
