Fishing license extensions

Post by Yambuk » Sat May 23, 2020 7:09 pm

Hi all, I'm just posting here about OUR fishing licenses.
Having been postponed for approximately 8 weeks in Vic .Has anyone else contacted the vrf about extending all current fishing licenses, for that period.
These licences have been paid for in advance, and should be honoured in my view.
I have emailed them and there response at that time ( 2 weeks ago) was " Nnnooo??) So I'm wondering if anyone else thinks they should honour there license period.

It's not that expensive here in Vic and they use it to stock fish etc. It's a small amount to what they do.
Go to NZ and their license is like $200 if I'm not mistaken.

Pretty good value if you have a seniors card, you don't need to have a licence, not the case in NSW so we are pretty lucky in Vic.
Cheers

Just like the people that want their AFL membership paid back. Its not big money mate, you will eventually make it all back with the fish you are going catch in the future. I think we all should wear it and not complain in my opinion.
