SOFT PLASTICS FOR TILAPIA

Post by Paulanderson » Sat Mar 22, 2014 11:23 pm

The attached pic shows soft plastics that have all done well with Tilapia. The bottom right "redfin" pattern has been the most successful. Like most fish what works one day does not the next. The soft plastic shown in the second pic caught 6 fish that day with the only other fish taken on a small rainbow trout pattern rapala.

By the way the river behind me is the Kafue and is not a really big river by African standards. You need to be careful where you bank fish as lots of Nile crocs but they don't hang around much in the current and a nice steep bank is also a big help.
