It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them

That's pretty much how my charter went except we didn't lose electrics. I tried to get on an 8 hour charter, they cancelled it. Instead I went on a 4 hour one. We had the option of marlin or reef fishing. There were 3 of us, myself. Another bloke from Sydney around 40 and a qlder woman around 40. The woman was all "go big or go home" both me and the bloke were worried about not having enough time to troll in 4 hours.

In the end we gave in to the chick. Went to the fad. Got smashed by waves. She spent 3.5hours seasick and I spent 3 hours seasick. Haha. Was like 6m seas. I caught one jellybean yellowfin.

Bad luck Milkie! A couple questions;
What is a fad? Is is a 'TLA' (three letter acronym). If so, what does it stand for?
Is there any truth in the rumour that Mrs iFish did a 'runner' when she saw you coming?
cheers

Fish aggregating device. From memory it was a barrel. The only structure around and all forms of fish and predators surround it.

At least you got on a boat mate. Mine somehow got double booked. And we didn't get to go. So landbased for me. I hope you get some good fish.
