First time catching a....
Well last night was spent down at cowes pier from about 12 till 5:30 this morning... About half an hour in and my bells started goin off! Sunk the hook in and started reeling it in, didn't put up much of a fight at first was just really heavy, I was thinking I had a ray, then all of a sudden the head shakes came into play and it took off under the pier.... Ohh crap I'm going to lose it! Managed to get it back out and brought it to the surface.... And.... It was a damn seal!!! Couldn't believe it.... Didn't put up much of a fight haha just casually came up... Didn't know how I was gonna get the hook out the bugger and eventually... Snap!! Off he went with a hook stuck in him, poor guy! The rest of the night was pretty quiet ended up with a port Jackson and a small flatty, had a few decent bites but nothing came from them.... Cheers all
