Hidden lakes mill park

Post by aussie_fisho » Fri Nov 08, 2013 7:03 pm

Hi everyone, I have heard of this lake somewhere near kellynack reserve in mill park( and it's not mill park lakes). That holds yellow belly, cod and also trout, has anyone ever heard of this spot or fished there before, seeing as it apparently holds all these fish I would love to give it a go.
Also near by is blue lake in yellow gum park which I have also been told holds yellowbelly, any info would be greatly appreciated thx aussie_fisho :-D

Fished blue lake a couple of times and didnt get a touch.
Met a couple of blokes down there who said they'd fished there 5 times with the same results.
They said their mate used to fish there and turned up one day to find dead yellas floating around everywhere.

Read some stories online saying similar things, so maybe it is fishless.
Sure looks fishy though!!

I had a look on Google maps it shows 2 lakes one at the end of Blossom Park drive the other at Yellow Gum park. I lived in Mill Park for about 8 years and did not know they existed what a Bugger.

That lake is fenced off but it looks like it would definitely have fish in it.
