Caught my first mirror carp last week up eildon. Didnt think ill ever say this about a carp but... what a beautiful looking fish!! So shiny and clean. Still smashed its skull in, they look so different but still as tough as old boots..

A mate of mine is happy to help and is printing up some flyers for the event, once all the supporting tackle stores are confirmed he will get started

would competing members please tell me if theyd prefer a prize for biggest fish of another species prize or smallest carp prize? a mates making up some flyers for me n he suggested smallest carp prize would b better so anyone can be in the running to win..

once the flyer is finished I will post it up here for u guys

Brings people away from carp culling.. Tho that'd be a mega catch for the plenty mick!! Hard enough to find a trout in there nowadays

Smallest carp is a good idea, puts anyone who catches a carp in the running for a prize.. I'm just keen to know what others think..
