Hi

Went out to fish a reef off a island today to fish for mangrove jack and other reef fish.

mainly after reef fish like mangrove jack and fingermark to cook up for tucker tonight.

I got there about a hour early before the tide change so flicked around for some nice barra before I anchored up on the reef

there was alot more barra there than I thought so enjoyed a hour or so catching some decent barra.

once anchored up on the reef I caught naniguy, sweet lip, red emporer and mangrove jacks for about two hours straight...then as the tide finished so did the fish....which was lucky cause I was very sea sick by then!

Went back around the protected side of a island near by to find some flat water and recover from the swell..it had some decent barra amongst the rocks so had another good session on the barra until the wind died down and I could get back.

Have to wait for most of the pics when I get back .
