Went back for the annual trip with the boys to travel 1400 km's north and get some warm weather and hot fishing action.
3 boats in tow and 8 days booked.
The weather kept us down to 3 days to fish but we managed to make the most of them.
1 day in 60-80 mtrs
1 day in the 100's
and 1 in the 340's

Cheers all.
14 people in the group and fillets were evened out through all so everyone got a good pile to take home.
1st for me were the ruby red snapper and the big grey banded cod which are top shelf on the plate too.
Cobia were thick as usual but were only kept a few. They go nuts when boated and are very talented at finding ways to damage gear.

often I chase these fish on light gear

They fight like machines.

Same as you...I like keeping them out off the boat and fight another day

Cheers bm
