Great stuff mate, what a weapon!! :a_goodjob: :a_goodjob:

What size battery are you planning on using for the elec motor, how much pound thrust is it?

Iv got a Watersnake (JW) 34 lb and its pushes a tinnie nicely on a calm day. Paired it with a 85am\h battery. Weights a ton though!

Isnt the single oar setup (with oar guides) a more efficinet way of rowing if the motor runs out of juice?

It's a 34lb motor and I have a 100ah battery that weighs 22kg, the oars are actually meant to join together i just seperated them for the photo, it is rated at 150kg so with me being 79kg plus the motor and that all is good, by the way I only paid $764 for the whole lot and yeah I got a licence and safety equip coz I sold my old boat

Anything that is not 'human\wind powered' requires a license and registration.

The following vessels are exempted from registration:

a vessel that does not have an engine that is used or is capable of being used for propulsion;

Are you trying to say no licence is required?

I'm sure the authorities will dis agree :victory: I've got a couple of friends on Facey, that have looked into it a lot and, as soon as you put an electric motor on a kayak, you need a boat licence.
In this case, Fishnipper already has one, so we don't need to go into it to much lol
