G'day Jim,I think that you will find that the spotted dog pattern was produced to mimic the coloring up of trout during the spawning run to antagonize those fish sitting on their redds.The smaller fish move in to feed on the ova.Try them at the end of the season after the first snow falls up on the peaks.

My partner just picked up one of these cool little buggers for xmas...man am i chuffed :) Cant wait to try it out...

If you stopped sending them out to the salmon schools without being connected to your rod and reel, you wouldn't need to get santa to drop them off :tongue:
