WPB Gummy Session

Post by FishnMiss » Sun Jun 16, 2019 9:32 pm

I haven’t been out for gummies for a few months so late yesterday arvo headed out with a mate.
Most the time out we were catching mostly undersized gummies & schoolies. Best bait seemed to be fresh Squid. We both ended up catching a couple of gummies each. A few dropped just next to the yak but all up pretty happy with the results.
Water temp was just under 13 Degrees & wind speed almost Zero.
It was a really great Arvo/Evening out.
Only saw 2 boats in the very far distance in the whole time we were out. It was like having the place to ourselves.

What a nice punchy report FishnMiss.

Great having the place to yourselves, no inquisitive sticky beaks. And great that you guys weren't wetting baits with no results.

Now, I'm no expert about Gummies but in the famous words of Sheriff Brody from "Jaws"

need a bigger boat.PNG

You are gonna' need a bigger filleting board

Would have been a top day for a fish mate.
Sounds like you both had some fun with a good result.
Enjoy the fresh flake.
Cheers
