Hi all, how are you....
What a chilly cold icy morning it was...lol..perfect for a spin session at the Gunn and screw my warm bed sleep in...Warmed up nicely once the Sun came up...Started fishing at first light (7.10am), high tide was at 5am and low was at 10.45am....There were already about 10 bait fishos on the beach and 1 other spinner. Carl turned up also a little later on making it 3 spinners....Again the group of Asians were there that dissappear past the far rocks never to be seen again...not sure what they are after... I fished till about 9.30am with no bites or hook ups..Salmon had a day off today..no matter, the fresh donuts tasted good...lol...Took some nice pics again in stages..7.45am, 8.45am and 9.45am...conditions to me seemed pretty good this morning but no fish for me...a few of the baitos caught a salmon each of medium size....anyway until next time....there is always a next time... I can't wait....Cheers all....

**** I think it has put pics back to front....

That's a shame, conditions looked pretty good for it.

They go float fishing off the rock platforms further down towards the Fingal steps for sweep, trevally and wrasse AFAIK

Carl told me fish to 2kg were busting everywhere.

I was thinking of going this morning but the high tide was too early. Monday and Tuesday are looking good with high tide around first light.

I was also there on Sunday and caught 3 on 30g slugs and when it was low tide i went for a wonder around Fingal, awesome rockpools.
4litres is correct these dudes were catching sweep off the rocks.

I fished from sunrise on Sunday on the falling tide. Pretty quiet, got 1 fish about half way down the beach. Plenty of bait fishos out.
