Reporting back to say that if anyone is looking for a way of making the ******* things taste good this recipe is worth a shot: http://www.taste.com.au/recipes/coconut ... 4f7dba4e1f4liters wrote:I went down this afternoon/evening, it wasn't as frenetic as this morning from the sounds of it but still got onto some pretty big fish. The one we measured was 63cm and I let several more go without measuring that were around that size. I landed half a dozen fish and lost a similar number in the wash. Kept 2 for dinner, we'll see if poaching them in coconut milk and curry paste will make them edible
I could see them jumping around about 30m beyond my range which was a bit frustrating.
Might give that a go, although I find if I bleed them straight away, snap neck and bleed them & then when I fillet I take the blood line out with a sharp knife :thumbsup:4liters wrote:Reporting back to say that if anyone is looking for a way of making the ******* things taste good this recipe is worth a shot: http://www.taste.com.au/recipes/coconut ... 4f7dba4e1f4liters wrote:I went down this afternoon/evening, it wasn't as frenetic as this morning from the sounds of it but still got onto some pretty big fish.
