Hi All,
Planning to fish Portland breakwater, and play around with one rod running sinker for pinkies whiting and flatties, and Chuck out the other rod on a float with 1.5m leader maybe for a kingie O.o. Just curious if y’all ever hook up anything else on the floats when targeting kings?.
If I chucked out my big rod just with a double pazza aiming for gummies and bigger snapper am I still a small chance at a king?
And yes I have thread dougies thread on Portland break wall and his great kingies, great read

I did with a live salmon before, something took it, but felt like a gummy, not a king.
Also, there can be squid and kgw too.
Live squid be good for king.
