Back in the days we went to pump sandworms in altona beach and we use to get heaps, do you always manage to pump a lot of sandworms there still? And breamster are you talking about barwon heads bridge like under it? I'm gonna head up to barwon heads on New Years

Went to Barwon River last night down the sheepwash end. Was only there for 3 or so hours at high tide. Current was very very strong and was dragging our lines down stream. Using pippies for bait we managed to get a few Mullet, a Trevally and a nice sized Flathead. Wind was stronger than I would have liked.

Had a very busy Xmas/New Year. Finally got the chance to go fishing for the first time this year.
Fished with a mate on Sunday from 9:30am till early afternoon, targeting ludes (as family & relatives now turned lude lovers).
It was slow going & we only managed 8 good size ludes, a small KGW & 1/2 dozen mullets.
Went home & threw them straight on the BBQ, then washed them down with a few cold VBs.
A nice way start to the year.

By ludes I'm assuming Luderick. I've got plenty skin diving round steps and boobs but I've never snagged one down there. I fish it alot but no Ludes. Any tips?
