Lorne Report

Post by GorillaT » Sat Jan 25, 2020 8:31 pm

First post !

Fished Lorne pier and the mouth of the Eskrine river 23, 2; & 25th.

River was slow with only a small bream being caught.

Lorne Pier has the local seal running a muck which seemed to put if any decent fish catches.
Salmon, wrasse and stingray.
Few sharks got caught during the night.

Squid in the other had have been getting caught, biting on the slack ride with the occasional during the run out.

I managed 7 with two biggest at 34 & 39cm hoods.
BCF Pink and yellow jigs did the work and out performed the others with yozuris.
