I'll chase breams & ludericks and leave the whitings for you 2 fellows. I don't think KGWs go that far upstream where I chase breams, But if they take my bait, I'll keep them.

Wow! Amazing, well done!
Where are the best land based spots at Barwon Heads for fishing?

Hey John,
If you're after KGWs, you can fish anywhere from the main bridge all the way up to the mud bank. There are a few jetties & fishing flatforms. Along the bank of Sheepwash. The mud bank is a good spot.
Fish 2-3 hrs either side of high tide.
I'm not a whiting man, so maybe Brad can add to the advise.

Thanks for the info breamster!

As I have a surf fishing rig, and I drove past and had a look at Barwon Heads last week after spending 1/2 a day at Point Impossible, is the fishing any good on the rocky point below Bluff Rd on the Southern entrance to the Barwon river?

Sorry John, I haven't done any surf fishing so can't help you there. I mostly fish in the river.
