That's a great idea Kimtown, but unfortunately I don't have a GoPro, nor the knowledge of how to edit videos (in keeping with my simple ways), but I must admit, it would be an interesting project and has been suggested to me before ;-)

I do, however, have some rare footage of me disposing of some carp, taken on a mate's mobile phone. I there a way for me to upload it here?

Just coming back after a long hiatus, just go down to your local cashie's they are bound to have one, as for editing thats fairly simple with just putting clips together i think gopro has one for your phone or something.

Headed to Taylors Lake over Easter for one solitary Carp. In addition to being generally out of form, the reason I haven't been fishing as much this year is:

1) I've been relatively busy with work
2) About 5 weeks ago I fell off my bike and dislocated my AC joint. It still hurts just going fishing :dn:

I've been out West to Manor lakes and East to Pakenham these last few weeks trying to catch a stinking Carp. I don't know why I bother when I can just jump on my bike and head down the creek!

What a great start to the 'season'. Thing was bloody huge, photo doesn't do it justice!

Nah, was rather an impromptu session. Didn't even bring a landing net or bait (found some worms when I got there), so probably lucky to get it in the end.

Wish I had of brought a brag-mat. Reckon it would be 75cm+
