Re: micro trout lures
I might get a few cicada imitations, they have started to come out now and I would like to try them at the arboretum in euroa for trout on my ultra light.

Re: micro trout lures
Get a mini Siglet, trout love them and suface minnows are good, things like the Slinky minnow and the Berkley bent minnows

Re: micro trout lures
I was looking at this - https://www.anacondastores.com/fishing/ ... right-eyes
looks good and is a bit cheaper. I looked at a review of the bent minnow today, looks good. the only problem I can find with the chase baits ripple is that its 1 gram over what my UL can take, but that shouldn't be a problem.

Re: micro trout lures
That won't be a problem for the rod. If you want to try cicadas you need to go as small as possible. Savage gear have some 33mm cicadas, I have a couple and they swim well.fisho999 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 05, 2022 3:06 pmI was looking at this - https://www.anacondastores.com/fishing/ ... right-eyes
