trout fishing in Euroa

Post by fisho999 » Thu Jul 28, 2022 11:38 am

hey,
i went to the arboretum in Euroa to do some trout fishing. stayed there for 4 hours flicking lures and bait fishing but didn't get anything. i saw lots of trout and lots of other people where catching trout. i was using corn so maybe i should use worms next time.
i am going to buy some repala lures for trout and a new rod and reel, 1-3 kilo.

I have yellow braid on a couple of my reels, as long as you use a leader of about 6ft you'll be fine. Never fish braid without a leader

The brown one on the far right with the red dots. I would also go down to 4 or 6 lb line, they'll see the 8lb a mile off. Why did you pick the 1000FX reel?
