Surprisingly it was bread under a float in the small lake
The fishing was good; it was the catching that was bad
The gods do not deduct from man's allotted span the hours spent in fishing

hey mate how long ago did you fish mcalpine reserve??? is that the little lake/pond with the bridge through the middle???

Yeah thats the one and it was maybe 8 months ago that i fished it and if you cross the bridge there's another larger lake which is massively polluted but their are three or four huge carp In their,

Gave FC's suggested spot a quick crack late this afternoon and managed one nice size carp, manage to break my drought of late.
Will have to get back there soon to give it a longer session and hopefully land a few more.

im going to give Carribean Gardens Lake a shot tomorrow using some Course Fishing Methods, Heard from a few people they see massive carp swimming around in there. I emailed the admin a couple of weeks ago asking if its ok to have a fish in there and yeah it is just only on open days of course, they had no info on what fish were in the lake though.
