Cifton Springs Kayak Three & 38CM - 8 June 2024

Hey everyone,

Sharing some success over the weekend, fishing Saturday 8 June from 1.00 - 2.00pm at Clifton Springs.

Location and Timing:

• Clifton Springs drifting over eel grass beds and patchy ground around the 3-4m depth and was on the water 3.00 - 4.00pm with a the run-in tidal movement.

Squid Jig Selection:

• The selection of a red foil natural pattern squid jig was made to take advantage of the overcast cooler conditions.

Experience

• Found patchy calamari drifting amongst the various depths with the highlight being meeting Tim on the water and the 38CM calamari which followed.
