Went out of point richards Rd with my neighbour this morning launched around nine. We were just going to soft plastic at the 1st drop off. We caught a few small flathead then I hooked something pretty reasonable I was on for 5 minutes just when I thought I had won it was close to the boat I final head shake and its gone.
By now the wind was getting up a few waves breaking we headed in closer to shore. We put out the electric and slowly moved from weed bed to weed bed picking up squid as we went. 5 around bait size the rest good eating size .
The wind was really strong so we headed back to Port off the water by 1315.
