Portarlington 18th

Post by Nude up » Tue Oct 18, 2022 5:23 pm

Went out again today targeting whiting we tried several spots between Port and Clifton Springs for nothing at Clifton Springs on one of our marks we got 1 whiting and a few bites must have been 30 boats off Clifton Springs didn't see too many being caught. We squid jigged our way back to Port caught 20 and must have released 20 great fun to catch. I even got a video of the squid attacking our lure posted it on the Port facebookpage.

What time did you get out? Fished st lenno sun/mon/tues and got fish every morning but the bite shut down pretty much as soon as bright light hit the water directly around 8:30am. Sunday and Monday ground it out each day to about 3pm for pretty well stuff all save for every single flathead and Ray in the bay.
