Hey everyone,
Quick post sharing two sessions fishing at St Leonards, 22/9/2022 and 23/9/2022.
Fished the morning full sun afternoon Thursday, then fished the overcast Friday morning.
Both sessions were really unproductive, caught one squid, then two squid the next day.
Conditions were perfect, clear water, low wind and a mix of light conditions. Saw maybe five squid caught over two days.
May try Springs early morning land-based Sunday, can't see much action happening at St Leonards.
Cheers,

I was there around 3pm, believe it or not I bagged out in 2 hrs. Both my uncle and I caught our limit. Hoods ranged between 18cm to 30cm, got more decent size than baby ones for once. Weather was amazing apart from a bit of light shower but as soon as that cleared up the squid fishing realy fired up, few other fishos bagging 7 or 8 good size ones too and dropped some good ones in the commotion. I think it's just coincidence that they switched on as soon as you left lol, they have tracking device on you like the whitings on DenisAndrews wrote: ↑Fri Sep 23, 2022 5:16 pmHey everyone,

Now that's too funny, I would have left by 1pm right as that rain and stronger S hit St Leonards.
That's awesome to hear though, I guess that would have coincided with the start of the run out tide, maybe I'll try that tomorrow.
haha! Definitely won't be catching any squid sitting at home that's for sure!
Cheers for the update Kenle
