Bait collection

Post by Nude up » Thu Jul 21, 2022 8:49 pm

Went out of st leonards about 945 with a run out tide. We went to governor reef fished all around it for nothing moved down to gassy point again nothing the water was crystal clear but no takers.
We moved out to Prince George bank slightly deeper and we started picking some up great bait size some so small we put them back to grow a bit. As they just started they stopped we moved to a weed bed we got a few good ones the other week quick fire 5 then time to go we were off the water around 230. We had 18 12 bait 6 for eating.
When I got home I vac packed them for next week fishing trip. Back at the ramp other boats were coming in not much to brag about very quite

You can't beat a day on the water with conditions like that, some good bait there!

Nudie have you thought about making a salt water aquarium seeing your so close to the water ?
that little squid would be a perfect size or depending on the size of the aquarium half a dozen that size.
He who has the most fishing rods WINS ! :ts:
