Another cracker

Post by Nude up » Fri May 13, 2022 9:55 pm

After fishing g Monday and Tuesday my freezer has plenty of squid and whiting in it. Over a few beers with my neighbour we decided to go out Friday in my boat hopefully for a gummy.
We headed to the old channel off portarlington anchored up got some berley going still the run in tide. Nothing 2 hours we flick soft plastics around were our whole squid baits are soaking. Gurnard small pinkies and draughtboard sharks.
The dolphins appear then seals surround my boat for 30 mins.
We decided to run away and drift near the radio marker and we caught a few flathead one went 48cm then one of the squid baits goes off and a nice gummy comes on board day not wasted

Another top effort Nude Up glad you are enjoying your retirement. Where abouts is the radio marker, never heard of one in PPB.

The small ones get frozen individually and make awesome baits

Cool thanks, I know the one. I thought that was just a marker for the shipping channel entrance.
