Hey everyone,

Just wanted to share two quick sessions chasing some squid over the past weekend.

Fished
Morning session @ 9:30am
Clear run in high tide
Clear skies with a light W breeze

It's not often that I get out for a morning session, it was a refreshing change.
Decided to cast over the deeper weed beds to make the best use of the W & run out tide.
It was very quiet for the first half an hour, then clouds appeared blocking the sun periodically which fired up the squid.
Single sand patch landing 3, friend caught 2 one after another until they moved on/or we caught the group. Quick hour session and I was done.

Returned that evening, 5:30-6.
Casting the same way managed another 3 against the bright sunset.

You are a squid machine as always mate, I might head down for a fish this weekend again and see what I can collect, it's going to be rainy and cold but that ain't stopping me. Enjoy the feed squid slayer

Cheers Kenle, yeah see how you go with those N winds, may be mud brown. Went for a flick tonight, easily 25+ squid caught across 5 of us. Managed 5 between 4:50-5:30 and dipped. Nothing huge all around that 25cm mark. I may have a flick during the day.
