Just fishing local

Post by Nude up » Tue Mar 22, 2022 5:16 pm

With light winds today my neighbour was up for more fishing today. we launched around 9 am with a run out tide we didn't have to go far less than a klm towards Clifton Springs we anchored up got the berley going. We got a couple of crackers 38cm quickly but it soon went quite we made a move with overcast conditions it was hard to pick out the weed beds but we found one anchored up over sand, the stern of the boat about 10 to 15mt away from the weed bed more berley squid for bait very fresh we started catching whiting straight away quite a few small ones we only take ones over 30cm by the turn of the tide we had 21 in the esky. With the usual bycatch banjo's 4 off small salmon. Another great day out
