Portarlington 10th

Post by Nude up » Mon Jan 10, 2022 3:03 pm

Went out this morning with my neighbour launched at Point richards around 0915 which was a bit late tide had almost reached high tide and as they say no run no fun.
This proved to be true we only picked up 2 whiting then nothing as the sun had come out around 11sh we decided to drift the small weed beds between port and the mussel farm.
We picked up 7 squid in 2.5 crystal clear water great to see the squid leave the weed and follow the jig by 1230 we were back at the ramp cleaning up both boat and fish. a great day to be on the water.

Nice catch. How was the water on your side of town? I though southern winds would make it rough at your end ?
