I got some Gars down at mordi yesterday but too many smaller bay trouts around. Was getting double headers all the time. Just above legal size.

Yeah there was heaps of people (probably 100's) catching gars on Sunday at mordi

Quick update on the gars:

Clifton Springs, there are bigger gars there but not huge numbers. You'd be lucky to get more than double digits.

St Leonards, Sunday were around, saw around 30 caught and I got 8 with a few salmon trout and tommies. The gars yesterday were around but smaller, a few chunkers in the mix. Friend caught 10, but at night they turned up in huge schools along with hundreds of tommies. Squid were smaller both nights, but nice sized.
