I hope so too, but I am a little worried with the amount of metro people which went rural this week.
The pier was packed today, easily 50+ people and I reckon most were from Melbourne! Word got out quick about the gars.
I saw a whole of two squid caught today, no bigger than 15cm. Friend saw 3 smaller ones caught between 9am-3pm.
Again, huge amounts of baitfish so the squid are well fed and not even chasing jigs. Deeper seems to be more productive for people in the boats.
