Portarlington 21st

Post by Nude up » Wed Sep 21, 2022 10:01 pm

Went out with my neighbour today around 9 looking for squid and whiting. We started at the weed beds near the boat ramp before we had gone 1klm we had 20 squid in the bin. We headed down to the mussel farm got a bit of berley going the bites came thick and fast goat fish, banjo's, toad fish and a few whiting legal size but thin so we let them go.
We changed tactics and started using soft plastics around the mussel farm great fun we must have caught around 20 but only kept 4 over 30cm.
230 we were off the water cleaned the catch and went home washed the boat and had a few beers.
