Point lillias 16/11

Post by BigJ » Sat Nov 16, 2013 7:07 pm

Went for the 2km walk today and fished the incoming tide.
Picked up 5 banjos between 60-90cm. All went back in to annoy someone else.
Also picked up a pair of salmon and a nice 51cm flathead.
Left about an hour after high tide as it was starting to become banjo after banjo.
A guy next to me got a nice KGW. None for me tho. But had a great day. Forgot how long that walk was.

On a sour note. People who previously fished there had caught banjos and I counted 7 just lying over the rocks. I don't know why people don't just throw them back in, if they don't want them.

x 2 nice looking flatty. I haven't caught them for a while. Very strange... there were heaps of them in the bay around this time last year,

Maybe might have something to do with the water temp. This time last year i would guess that the water temp was higher

Thanks, I think that was the last big flatty left. Abit of burley bought it in.

Nice flatty indeed.

Is the 2km stretch mountain-bikeable?
