Last minute Geelong Session

Post by Rogue_Hunter » Mon Apr 01, 2013 9:54 pm

Got a phone call from my Father inlaw at about 2pm asking if i wanted to join him on a fishing session. Who was i to let a grown man down! :D

Managed to land x2 flatheads .. water was like glass, probably why we didn't get any pinkies. Fished between 5pm and 8pm.

No gars aswell .. however i did see a pike harrasing fish but couldnt get him to take my lures (tried all sorts)

Was a good chillout session to end the long weekend. Back to work tomorrow :wall:

Both fish were 39cm - all cleaned and ready for tomorrow dinner! :dinner: :dinner:

Tell me about it .. they are very "unique" looking fish.

However, you cant help but be impresed with their eyes

There was a young family on the pier with us with a little boy. As kids, they really wanted to get onto a fish, and the first flathead i got onto, i got the little kid to reel it in. He was super stocked and was going crazy when it the fish was flapping around on the pier; gotta love kids when they young, you can entertain them so easily. Not looking forward when my jokes are no longer funny and the boys start rolling their eyes.
