Anyone doing any good lately?
Spoke to a nice fellow last week who claims that he catches ‘tons’ of snapper off Clifton springs. Only place I’ve really seen anyone fishing for snapper seems to be the Bend.
Is it worth keep trying around corio bay or should we go over other side to my Martha etc?
I live in Geelong but we’ve never caught a snapper and would love to focus on Clifton Springs. Just not sure if the schools come through here?
Any advice appreciated!

Re: Clifton springs Snapper
I've caught a few reds just over the 60cm size land based, I fish at night when all the cowboys have gone, the stretch from St Helens boat ramp to St Helens park jetty has been productive for me.Gozzy63 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 31, 2019 7:42 pmAnyone doing any good lately?

I also have done well at St Helens, especially using the salted Bluebait from Mario's Bait shop just up the road.
