Corio Bay - Flathead & Whiting session with video

Hi everyone,
I went for a kayak fishing session last week around Corio Bay just before the township of Geelong.

Was quite tough going we landed 12 flathead ( biggest going 45cm ), 4 whiting ( biggest going 40cm ) a couple of small pinkies and a heap of those dam Banjos. Was fishing with both bait and soft plastics using squid strips and Savage gear Fat T-Tails, zman grubs and turtle back worms. Half caught on bait and half on plastics.
Got chatting to a few locals who said its been really quiet around that way in the boat in recent weeks, so not sure if other locals have experienced this or not. We chatted to a number of boats who came back in several empty handed. So maybe we didn't do so bad.
