Didn't work today due to shitty weather and didn't want to stay home so thought I'd go have a fish.

Headed to St. Helens and chucked a few baits in off the rocks. About 30mins later I hear splash splash splash. Look to my right salmon bustin up right in front me. Had a rod in the back of the ute already rigged with a slug. Chucked it straight into the bust up couple turns of the reel later...BANG! I was on and did it give me a run for my money! A minute later had him on land went close to 40cm. Chucked the slug back in and in no time was on again. It only lasted 5 mins and they were off. Ended up with 10 but kept 2 as I don't eat them. Just use them for gummy bait.
