How do use them for bait whole or fillets , i tried fillets n then cut the head off another one and use the rest for one big bait. For nothing today.
@trev king unsure of correct way to fillet so be bait.

heres the way I fillet them, learnt it about 2 weeks ago and it was easy.

Gd catch mate , wondering if u froze them now would they still be gd baits come snapper time???? Have always used squid but this year I want to try gars and silver whitting . Would love to know if they would stay fresh til then .

I would imagine a vac sealer would help with this

Definitely the way to go vac sealing otherwise they dry out and get freezer burn. I like using them like pilchards cut in half two hook rig cut the beak off
