There's good beaches to fish off the beach too. Safer than rock fishing. If you could find a good deal that suits you, why not give surf/beach fishing a try?

Beautiful piece of coastline down that way.
I've been hearing that they've started with a good run of salmon now the outside heads had become warmer than the bay.

Trout season will be closed when you're down there so streams aren't an option. 8 and 10lb braid is fine for salmon if the surf is on the smaller side or in enclosed bays/marinas

Thanks for the tip! Nothing else worth chasing in the streams or are they just straight up closed for everything?

cod, but I would get a heavier setup if I were you, if your chasing them on lures get a bait caster.
yellas as well. you can also bait fish for both of them.

AND HEY! carp and redfin don't have closed seasons so take a few of them out of the water will ya?
