Port yesterday

Post by Trumpeter » Thu Jan 14, 2021 10:52 am

Haven't done a report for a long time so here goes!
Launched solo at Clifton S yesterday around 9.30am, the ramp was quiet but the car park was packed full, I was lucky to get a spot as a guy was just leaving, glad I didn't go earlier. Picked up 3 good calas off Beacon Point then went to Portarlington to a mark where there's been lots of Pinkies, they were there again in force but nothing over 25cm. Plenty of Flatties, only 3 keepers though and capped off the day with an ok gummy, which put up a great fight on a ting outfit. It was an awesome day out on the water although a little warm until the sea breeze came in.

Great session mate, not sure how you landed the gummy on a whiting outfit you did extremely well. Definitely some good meals to come after that haul.

Gummy on whiting gear, now that sounds like a challenge. And you did well. Good on you :tu:
