Im looking at heading further up the road if you can suggest any places to stop and fish.

I got some nice salmon off the beach at wild dog beach as well just as you head into Apollo bay and as hornet suggested monster sambos from Johanna I got mine with a red surf popper.
When I went the guy in the tackle shop at Apollo bay told me of a guy landing a 20 kg gummy there too
